Paddle The Secret Garden

Adventures in Paradise at Port Sanibel Marina invites you to canoe and kayak the Roberts Refuge trail, an easy well marked trail teeming with wildlife. Our secret garden trail puts you in the mist of wildlife and native vegetation as you float along reconnecting with nature.

Paddle trails where the ancient Calusa Indians traveled. Quiet, serene trails interrupted by the call of birds, splash of fish or whoosh of manatee coming up for air will thrill paddlers of all ages. This is eco-fun for the entire family. Glide through the mangrove tunnels and marvel at the teaming life the estuaries protect and nourish: gathering fish among the roots which are stalked by birds causing crabs to scurry along the bark. Feed your thirst for adventure and witness first hand the natural cycle of the estuaries in our secret garden.

Launching is available for those with their own canoe or kayak, or rent one of Adventures in Paradise’s new Heritage Kayaks. The Heritage Kayaks are sit on top requiring only a few strokes to get going or change direction and have comfortable seating with back rests. Life Jackets, paddles and trail map are all included. Rental is $25.00 per canoe or kayak, single or double for 2 hours. The hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week.
